The Lindale is a reliable waterproof walking shoe with a full-grain leather upper and durable rubber outsole. It has a slightly shallower lug-depth compared to the Eskdale which sacrifices grip for speed. All-in-all a great 3-4 season hiker for our unpredictable climate.

    As my feet are full of lumps and bumps of old age finding a pair of boots is hard but this one is comfortable to wear.

    I liked these first time I got them. Functional not flash ! very comfortable. The price was excellent so no rip off here. After 3 years the heels got worn through like all modern trainer type footwear but uppers still excellent. so I hope my second pair as good as first

    Only had shoes 1 week so not had chance to test in mud and rain. But very comfy to wear straight out the box. Not bad looking although quite a big and chunky design, so not going to win a stylistic contest.

    Have just walked the Great Glen way and this shoes are extremely comfortable hope they will be just as comfortable on The West Highland way .The leather stitching round the toe end is prone to come away from the leather do not if this is due to the age of the shoe or lack of enough leather polish But as the shoes came at a good price will give…

    These Peter Storm walking shoes bridge the gap being good looking (smart) and durably strong. They are comfortable to wear, slightly wide in the toe area but provide good support overall. With leather uppers they are less utilitarian than standard walking shoes. Recommended
