let me start by saying I’m an avid fan of Rab. This jacket should have been excellent. One walk through the peaks in the rain proved it was not waterproof. Soaked in under 10 minutes of standard rain.

First wore the jacket in light drizzle it soon got saturated. The person I was with had a waterproof jacket on for a third of the price of the Rab, which the rain just rolled off. Paying for the name

I purchased the Rab downpour jacket and Trousers recently and just tried them out today! I was absolutely drenched head to toe within an hour!

Very disappointed, it let water through on first use and I was soaked to the bone. Can’t see me wearing it again as not fit for purpose. Wish I had read the reviews before buying.

bought this in April and only had chance to use it properly today,, July 22 2023…the wind was Gail force and the rain heavy. it simply is not waterproof…. wish I could get my money back.
