Sturdy and comfortable but definitely NOT waterproof as advertised. For a few weeks walking in dry conditions, they were fine. But then, after walking in damp conditions my feet got wet through.

I bought these boots for a camping trip and couldn’t be more dissatisfied with them. They got wet when I was breaking them in and the water came straight through. I was only walking through wet grass.

I bought a pair of 9 (usually take an 8) the 8 were a bit tight. The 9 is perfect. I regularly walk on fairly flat terrain approx 5-6 miles, and these are the best walking boots I’ve had.
